World Parkinsons Day

World Parkinson’s Day is an annual awareness day on April 11th, marking Dr. James Parkinson’s birthday, to spotlight Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological condition, raise understanding, support patients and carers, and fund research for breakthroughs. 

Activities include “Light Up Blue” campaigns with landmarks lit blue, community events, sharing personal stories, and promoting campaigns like “#worldparkinsonsday” to unite the community against stigma and call for action.
